The methods behind the results
When you read a COA from any lab, the named methods are what make results comparable:
- USP <71> Sterility Tests — the compendial standard for sterility testing of preparations intended to be sterile.
- USP <85> Bacterial Endotoxins Test — quantifies endotoxin against a limit, reported in endotoxin units.
- HPLC assay methods — the usual basis for identity and potency of peptide preparations, reported as a percentage of label claim within an acceptance range.
A certificate naming a real lab and real methods can still be a forgery — the fix is always the same: confirm with the source. That is the operating principle of this entire registry.
